Following Josh Jacobs’ arrest in May after an alleged altercation, more women have come forward with claims against him. Records from the Hobart/Lawrence Police Department, obtained by NBC 26, reveal new details about the incident involving the Green Bay Packers running back and other allegations.
The NFL stated it will continue reviewing the allegations as part of its ongoing investigation.
One incident involved a woman who contacted police in June 2026 regarding an encounter with Jacobs in January 2022. She reported her experience mirrored the May allegations, noting a violent interaction after she refused to have sex with Jacobs. The woman claimed Jacobs slapped her, threw her phone into a pool, and threatened her life.
She chose not to report the episode earlier due to her ongoing friendship with Jacobs and fear her claims would be dismissed.
In another account, a woman alleged she had sex with Jacobs in April 2021. Afterward, a broken condom led to a confrontation where Jacobs allegedly assaulted her, resulting in bruises. Despite a police report, no physical signs of an altercation were found.
A third woman described being flown by Jacobs to his residence in May 2022. She recounted being physically assaulted after an argument, though she did not report it due to fears of deportation.
Jacobs’ legal team responded, asserting the district attorney found only two misdemeanor charges warranted after thorough investigations. Jacobs entered a plea agreement and is complying with its terms.
Additional information about the May incident reported Jacobs allegedly grabbed a woman, causing her to hit her head, and subsequently took her phone.
The running back pleaded no contest to charges of battery and criminal damage to property. Since his removal from the commissioner’s exempt list, Jacobs has participated in two games, gaining 75 rushing yards and scoring a touchdown, along with notable performance as a receiver.
After scoring against the Carolina Panthers, Jacobs’ touchdown celebration, which he stated was inspired by a gospel song, sparked controversy. He clarified it was not meant to reference his recent legal issues.
