2 weeks ago 0

WWE star Charlotte Flair commended Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton for his generous contribution to a GoFundMe campaign. The campaign supported the family of Scarlett Guillen, an 8-year-old girl who passed away from a rare brain cancer, Diffuse Midline Glioma.

During an appearance at Sports Illustrated Beyond the Pitch in New York City, Flair spoke to Fox News Digital about Haliburton’s donation of $10,000. This contribution helped cover Scarlett’s funeral costs. Flair expressed her gratitude, stating, “It really helped cover her funeral costs. I saw him tonight at the show and I was like, hey, thank you. You have no idea how much that meant to me, to the family. Just, what a great guy.”

Scarlett was a devoted fan of Flair. Before WrestleMania 42, they shared a heartfelt bond, which was highlighted in a special segment. Flair honored Scarlett by wearing butterfly-themed ring gear.

After Scarlett’s passing, Flair posted on her X account, “Thank you for the light you brought into my life. You reminded all of us that a life isn’t measured by its length, but by the love it leaves behind. Your light doesn’t end here. It lives on in your family, your friends, and in every heart you touched. It lives on in every butterfly that makes someone stop and smile, and in every diamond that catches the light.” She added, “You will always be our butterfly. You will always be our diamond girl. You are loved beyond words, and you will never, ever be forgotten.”
