Chris Hansen joins Tyrus on the show ‘Planet Tyrus’ to discuss the new film Primetime, starring Robert Pattinson. The movie draws inspiration from Hansen’s renowned predator investigations. Hansen states he was not consulted during the film’s creation and disagrees with its portrayal seen in the trailer. He describes the depiction as a dark and fictionalized version of actual events.
Hansen believes that the real story behind his investigations already had enough drama and claims Hollywood mischaracterized it. To counter this, Hansen plans to convey his own message directly to moviegoers. His team has acquired 30-second ad slots to air before Primetime starts in thousands of theaters. These ads will feature his iconic phrase, “Have a seat.”
