The Education Department has recently updated its list of graduate programs that qualify for increased student loan limits. This update raises the number of eligible programs from 11 to 29.
This change follows a federal court’s temporary block of the department’s previous definition of a ‘professional’ degree. The revised list now accommodates a wider range of graduate programs, allowing more students to access greater financial assistance.
