Hannah Hirsh spent five years as a stripper before leaving the sex industry after a personal encounter with Jesus. Now, she shares her experiences to warn other women about the dangers of that lifestyle. She described her time in the industry as a ‘dark’ period filled with addiction, drugs, alcohol, and even trafficking.
Hirsh explained the allure of quick money and how it can lead women into a difficult and morally challenging environment. Many women enter clubs thinking it’s an easy way to make money, not realizing the negative aspects that accompany it. The environment often leaves them feeling empty and conflicted about their choices.
Her career halted when the pandemic of 2020 led to the closure of clubs in her area. This pause in her life allowed her a moment of reflection and a chance to reconnect with God. She realized that chasing after a luxurious lifestyle glamorized by society wasn’t fulfilling.
Sharing her insight, Hirsh observed that many women in the industry depend on drugs and alcohol to cope with their work. She noted that while the industry may seem glamorous on the surface, the reality is far from it. Instead of being empowered, women often feel belittled and degraded.
Motivated by her renewed faith, Hirsh founded ‘Kept by Grace Ministry’. Her mission is to visit strip clubs and offer women guidance and support, encouraging them to seek a different path. She wants to plant the seeds of faith in their hearts, convinced that God can redeem anyone, regardless of their past.
Hirsh emphasizes that no one is beyond saving and that even strippers, heavily criticized by society, can find redemption through God. She believes understanding the essence of God’s love is crucial for those who think others are too far gone.
