Iran launched attacks on American bases and allies in the Gulf region on Wednesday. This response came after U.S. military strikes along Iran’s southern coast resulted in at least 18 deaths, according to the Iranian health minister.
President Trump, speaking at the White House, indicated that this renewed campaign is not expected to continue for an extended period. However, he issued a stern warning to Tehran, stating that the U.S. would respond “very hard” if the tensions surrounding the Strait of Hormuz are not resolved.
