Jacy Jayne Prepares for Money in the Bank Ladder Match

1 day ago 0

Women’s United States champion Jacy Jayne is about to make her first appearance in the Money in the Bank ladder match. She hopes to seize the briefcase and secure a world title shot. Jayne has a strategy for the event but is keeping it a secret, urging fans to watch the match to see her plan unfold.

Jayne said she is familiar with the competitors in the match and has been reviewing tapes to plan her approach. She stated, “I’m ready to climb that ladder and be ‘JC in the Bank.'”

Though there are top champions like Stephanie Vaquer, the women’s world champion, and Chelsea Green, the WWE women’s champion, Jayne maintains that every competitor is a target. Green, being on the SmackDown roster with Jayne, seems like a prime target, but Jayne emphasizes her goal to keep everyone on edge.

“Everyone’s a target. I might pretend I’m going to cash in 52 times before I actually do,” she noted.

Previously, Jayne held the NXT women’s championship and expressed readiness for the main roster call-up. She debuted on SmackDown alongside Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid in April, confirming her transition to the higher level of competition.

Reflecting on her advancement, Jayne shared, “When you believe in yourself, you can achieve remarkable things. I knew I was ready for this opportunity and I wasn’t going to ease up.”

After winning the women’s U.S. title against Tiffany Stratton, Jayne watched as her stablemates Henley and Reid won tag team titles. She expressed pride in their achievements, particularly Henley’s rapid progression in wrestling.

“Watching Henley, who is relatively new to wrestling, win the title felt special. It’s rewarding to see people you care about succeed,” she said.

Jayne will compete against Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Roxanne Perez, Lash Legend, and Tiffany Stratton in the Money in the Bank ladder match. The event takes place at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans and will air on ESPN Unlimited at 6 p.m. ET.
