Jill Biden’s Memoir Ignites Debate Over Joe’s Debate Performance

Jill Biden’s new memoir has sparked discussions concerning former President Joe Biden’s debate performance, bringing his health into question. Michael LaRosa, former chief spokesperson, accuses the White House of hiding issues rather than addressing them.

During a recent interview, Jill Biden shared her fears regarding President Biden’s 2024 debate, implying she feared he was experiencing a stroke. This statement has led to criticism for possibly reversing her earlier stance on his performance against Donald Trump.

LaRosa suggests the current efforts to reshape public perception of Jill Biden are belated. He mentions her statement intends to paint her reaction as severe and aligns with public concerns, saying, “They’re trying to change the tape in people’s minds about who she is.”

“If Jill had expressed her concerns at the time, it would have been a more human response,” LaRosa stated.

Despite telling a supportive crowd that Biden performed well, Jill admitted in a CBS interview that the debate scared her, thinking, “Oh my God, he’s having a stroke.” This admission has intensified Republican claims of Biden’s unsuitability due to decline.

Democrats argue the debate was an outlier, a temporary lapse in his performance. Despite controversy, new details suggest his actions were both recurring and difficult to predict, as reported by Axios’ Alex Thompson.

According to aides, as expressed in the book “Original Sin,” Biden’s moments of unpredictability had been observed before and proved challenging to manage in public view.
