Linda McMahon Criticizes Democrats Over Women’s Sports Concerns

Education Secretary Linda McMahon expressed her concerns about the Supreme Court’s decision supporting transgender sports bans. The “Protect College Sports Act” is currently being debated in Congress. If it passes both the House and the Senate, President Donald Trump will have the chance to sign it into law. Trump’s support for this legislation is clear. He recently urged Congress to pass the Act before recess, stating it is crucial for the future of young athletes and women’s sports.

The “Protect College Sports Act is a great Bill, and the Senate will hopefully stay in D.C. until it passes,” Trump stated on Truth Social. “Without this Bill, millions of young athletes will be hurt, programs will be canceled, women’s and Olympic sports will go away, fans will be robbed, and universities will go broke.”

Trump asserted his commitment to protecting women’s sports and criticized those who claim otherwise. He called for immediate action from Congress, urging members to collaborate and send the bill to his desk for approval.

On Friday, Trump shared these remarks on Truth Social and echoed similar sentiments while hosting U.S. Olympians at the White House. He encouraged bipartisan cooperation to pass the bill, stressing the urgency of the matter.

“I’m urging the House and the Senate to come together, bipartisan if possible, and it looks like they have done, to send the bill to my desk and I will sign it. If we don’t, we’re very foolish,” Trump said. “Nobody knows what will happen. We’re in Never-Never Land.”

A White House memo clarified that the Protect College Sports Act would not override state laws preventing biological men from participating in women’s sports. States will maintain the ability to legislate on this issue.
