A livestream video has captured a tense moment on a Rhode Island bike path, which has garnered 3 million views. The video features Henry Poston, a livestreamer known for an activity called ‘coffinboarding,’ where he lies flat on an electric longboard.
Filmed on September 29, the footage shows Poston encountering a cyclist who identifies himself as ‘Joshua.’ The man urges Poston to follow him into a wooded area near a canal. Poston continues with his livestream until the man requests him to stop recording. What follows is a disturbing interaction. The man makes a threat, stating, ‘Your ass is sucking canal water. You know what that means, right? That means I already killed you, you’re dead in the bottom of the river.’
Poston shared his experience on a platform called X, expressing his genuine fear for his life. He managed to escape by traveling approximately six miles to ensure his safety.
“I genuinely believed I was going to die that day,” Poston wrote on X.
Adding to the gravity of the situation, Poston noted that less than two months earlier, a body had been found in the river where the threat occurred. He identified the deceased individual as 28-year-old Efrain A. Espinoza, whose body was discovered in the Blackstone River in August. Poston mentioned that he has no evidence connecting this incident to Espinoza’s case. The investigation into Espinoza’s death is ongoing by police authorities.
