President Donald Trump recently signed an executive order to rename Lake Ontario as Lake America. This move is part of his ongoing conflict with Canada.
According to a poll conducted by Ipsos and Reuters, 63 percent of Americans disapprove of Trump’s decision. The renaming was supported by only 14 percent of respondents. Another 21 percent were either unaware of the action or uncertain about their opinions.
This decision follows a pattern of escalating tensions between the United States and Canada under Trump’s administration.
