New Hampshire Primary Wins Set Stage for Senate Race

2 hours ago 0

Former Republican senator John E. Sununu and Democratic Representative Chris Pappas each secured a significant victory in their respective primaries on Tuesday. This win positions them for a competitive race for New Hampshire’s open U.S. Senate seat in November.

While the contest in New Hampshire hasn’t captured the same level of national attention as other pivotal races, such as those in Texas and Michigan, it remains essential in determining Senate control. The races in those states have seen extensive financial investments and intense campaigning, unlike the more straightforward primaries in New Hampshire.

Sununu, joined by his wife, Kitty, addressed his supporters in Manchester, expressing excitement about the upcoming November election.

Pappas, on the other hand, also speaking to his supporters, emphasized the importance of the upcoming election and his commitment to moving New Hampshire forward.
