New York Giants’ quarterback, Jaxson Dart, recently introduced former President Donald Trump before his speech in Suffern, New York. Dart, 23, initiated the event with a chant before welcoming Trump to the stage.

“Big Blue Nation, it’s a pleasure to be here. I got to start this off with a ‘Go Big Blue,’” Dart stated, leading the chant momentarily before introducing Trump.

“What an honor, what a privilege it is to be here, and without further ado, I’m grateful, I’m honored, I’m pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th president of the United States America, President Donald J. Trump.”

Following his introduction, Dart shook hands with Trump and exited the stage.

However, Abdul Carter, Dart’s teammate, expressed his disapproval by reposting the video of Dart introducing Trump, commenting, “Thought this s—t was AI, what we doing man.”

The Giants drafted both Dart and Carter in the 2025 NFL Draft. Carter was the No. 3 overall pick from Penn State, while Dart was chosen at No. 25 from Ole Miss after the team traded up to secure him. The franchise is counting on both players to serve as key components as they showed potential during their rookie seasons.

Carter, 22, participated in all 17 games, recording 43 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and four sacks. His performance improved significantly toward the end of the season.

Carter did face disciplinary actions due to attendance issues, resulting in him being benched for the opening drives in two games.

Dart played in 14 games, starting 12, with a record of 4-8 in those starts. His completion rate was 63.7%, totaling 2,272 passing yards, 15 touchdowns, and five interceptions. Dart proved to be a dynamic runner, rushing 86 times for 487 yards and nine touchdowns.
