Omos Prepares for Wrestling Showdown in Las Vegas

Omos stands out as one of the towering figures in WWE. However, his presence in WWE rings has been absent for two years. Instead, he ventured into other wrestling promotions, leaving a notable mark.

Omos enjoyed a brief tenure at Pro Wrestling Noah in Japan. His next stop was at AAA’s Triplemania 33, where he claimed victory in the Bardahl Cup in Mexico, establishing his prowess there.

Before facing Rey Mysterio at TripleMania 34 in Las Vegas, Omos spoke about his transition to AAA after Japan. He expressed no hesitation about joining AAA and credited his Japanese stint in Pro Wrestling Noah with preparing him for AAA challenges.

“No, not at all. I think, me coming to AAA, I had a chance to go to Japan last year for Pro Wrestling Noah and I think that prepared me for AAA,” Omos remarked. “Going out there, experiencing a new culture, speak little-to-no Japanese but being able to immerse myself in that wrestling culture, which is all the same boat. It’s also very unique in its own ways. It was a phenomenal experience so I think that helped me.”

Recently, AAA suspended Omos following an incident with Mysterio, AAA’s general manager. Despite this, the rivalry persisted. Omos attended an event as a spectator but got involved in the action.

During Night 1 of Triplemania 34 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Omos aims to reclaim his roster spot. He’s eager to face Mysterio, a legend in WWE and renowned Luchador.

“I am excited to hand out the greatest a— whooping of this lifetime to Rey Mysterio. I am thrilled,” Omos stated.

Despite Mysterio’s legendary status, Omos remains unfazed.

“No, I don’t give a damn. It doesn’t matter, no,” he said. “Not even in the slightest.”

The match is anticipated as a thrilling encounter, likened to a real-life David vs. Goliath story.
