President Donald Trump has once again praised Republican Senator Jon Husted’s physique, describing him as a “pile of muscle.” Trump made these remarks during a rally in Greenville, North Carolina, on Tuesday.
At the rally, Trump commented, “I’m studying his body. I’ve never studied the body of a man before. It’s not my thing. Nothing wrong with it, of course.” He further detailed his observations, saying, “I looked at his ass, and then I looked at his legs. I said, ‘His ass, it’s like a pile of muscle.’ Then I looked at his legs, and I said, ‘Man, his feet are big.’ Then I looked at his shoulders, and I tapped him on the shoulder, and it actually hurt my hand. He’s like a piece of steel.”
This is not the first instance of Trump’s admiration for Husted’s build. At a previous rally in Youngstown, Ohio, on October 12, Trump also commented on the senator’s physique, particularly noting Husted’s football background. “I looked, and I watched up and down. I looked at his ass, and I looked at the whole—and then I looked at his hands. Look at his hands. He’s got these, like, claws,” Trump remarked at that event.
Husted, a former all-American defensive back at the University of Dayton, is currently engaged in a competitive election race against former Senator Sherrod Brown, a Democrat, for Ohio’s U.S. Senate seat. The Cook Political Report has rated the race as a “toss-up.”
