On Tuesday, a Manhattan prostitute, Tabitha Bundrick, 39, pleaded guilty to killing three men by providing them with fentanyl-laced drugs. Bundrick confessed to administering the potent synthetic opioid to her clients from April 2023 to February 2024 and robbing them of personal items, such as cell phones, sneakers, money, and watches, according to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
District Attorney Alvin Bragg stated, “The defendant knowingly killed three people by providing them fentanyl-laced drugs. As they lay unconscious, she robbed her victims and left them to die. In several instances, the victims’ bodies were found by their friends or family members.”
Bundrick is expected to face a sentence of 27 years to life on charges of three counts of second-degree murder and one count of second-degree assault. Bragg expressed that Bundrick showed a “shocking indifference” to the lives of her victims.
The Crimes
Bundrick’s criminal activities began on April 30, 2023, when she met Mario Paullan, 42, and his friend on the street. She initially offered to sell them soap and then proposed paid sexual services, taking them to an apartment she had broken into, as stated by prosecutors.
After delivering the fentanyl-laced drugs to them, Paullan’s friend awoke the next morning to find Paullan dead and their belongings missing.
Subsequent Incidents
In the following months, Bundrick met Miguel Navez, 39, and provided him with drugs at his apartment. His body was discovered three days later by his brother, with his belongings stolen.
The third murder happened on February 25, 2024, involving Abrihan Fernandez, 34, who was found dead in his apartment. Bundrick was observed entering and exiting the Upper Manhattan apartment multiple times with large bags.
Bundrick is scheduled for sentencing on October 6.
