Teaching artists play a crucial role beyond mere instruction in their art form. They provide guidance, inspiration, and mentorship to students.

Reflecting on my experiences, I remember a dance class where my focus was lacking due to incessant chatting. As a result, the teacher directed me to sit below the piano, where I observed attentively. From that vantage point, I could only see feet. Sneakers and socks glided across the floor, and heels rose and fell in rhythm with the music. This moment of observation allowed me to appreciate the intricate dance movements from a different perspective.
