The celebrations, held on two private islands in the Bahamas this past May, included contributions from Kremlev. He is known for conducting business with the state.
Kremlev serves as the president of the International Boxing Association, a sports league based in Switzerland. This organization receives funding from Gazprom, the Russian state energy firm. He joined Russian President Vladimir Putin on a delegation to China not long ago.
Ukrainian sanctions have been imposed on Kremlev. These sanctions label him as a close associate of the head of Putin’s security service.
