Before the major match, Agnello and her teammates attended the AVP League Championship at Oak Street Beach. They cheered for Mizzou alum Kylie DeBerg and her partner, Betsi Flint from Dallas Dream. The team, dressed in pinstriped “Mizzou” baseball jerseys, embraced the lively atmosphere as they supported their peers.

“I think volleyball has a special place, especially in women’s sports,” said Wilkerson. “College volleyball we’ve always known is strong, and now we’re seeing it in these massive venues.”
