State health officials in Michigan have reported two fatalities linked to a cyclospora outbreak. The announcement came on Monday, highlighting that the deceased individuals had serious underlying health issues.
These health conditions might have been compromised by the intestinal illness and dehydration caused by the microscopic parasite. The health department has decided not to release additional details about these cases.
