1 hour ago 0

Hayden Panettiere’s tumultuous relationship with Brian Hickerson continues to unfold after her untimely death. Recently, Greenville police conducted a welfare check at a South Carolina residence associated with Brian and his brother, Zach Hickerson. The visit took place days after Panettiere’s passing, though officers found no one home during the check.

Police cruisers were observed at the scene early Wednesday morning. Fox News Digital sought comments from the Greenville Police Department regarding the situation. Authorities discovered Hayden Panettiere deceased in an apartment in Greenville, South Carolina on August 16. Brian Hickerson, her on-again, off-again partner, was present at the location alongside his brother when they found her unresponsive.

The police report reveals emotional responses from the Hickerson brothers during the incident. Zach appeared visibly affected, whereas Brian showed emotion only after Panettiere was declared dead. The officers retrieved a bag of medications Panettiere had been using, handed over by Hickerson.

Panettiere and Hickerson first met in 2018. Their relationship started after Panettiere’s separation from Wladimir Klitschko. Hickerson, originally from South Carolina, was involved in real estate and had a minor acting role. He reportedly traveled with Panettiere from Los Angeles shortly before her death. Despite briefly breaking up in 2022, the couple resumed their relationship in 2023.

Their relationship faced legal issues, with Hickerson charged with domestic violence in 2019 and again in 2020 on eight felony charges, including corporal injury and assault with a deadly weapon. In 2021, he was sentenced based on a plea agreement, which resulted in most charges being dismissed. Panettiere later addressed the public about her experiences, hoping her story would inspire others in similar situations to seek help.

Just before Panettiere’s death, Hickerson attempted another court appearance in Los Angeles to reduce his felony charges. However, the court denied the defense’s motion, maintaining the initial charges.
