Afghan Women Fight for Education in Secret Underground Schools

Afghan girls over the age of 12 have faced educational bans from the Taliban for nearly five years. New laws seem to emerge regularly, further restricting them. However, Afghan women continue to resist these oppressive measures with determination.

Leila Molana-Allen, a special correspondent, alongside videographer Eric O’Connor, explored a hidden school in Kabul. Here, they spoke with women risking their lives to oppose these stringent rules.
