President Donald Trump recently suggested further renaming of bodies of water. He made these remarks during a campaign rally held in Clarksville, Tennessee, on a Saturday.
Previously, Trump had attempted to rename the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario. At the rally, he continued with this theme by stating, “We’ve got the gulf. We’ve got a beautiful lake.” He went on to say, “Now, somebody said, you need a river. We need a river. We need an ocean.”
This latest proposal follows his previous efforts in changing geographic names and indicates his ongoing interest in such initiatives.
