1 month ago 0

Vanessa Trump, former wife of Donald Trump Jr., revealed in an Instagram story on Wednesday her diagnosis with breast cancer. She stated, “I want to share a personal health update. I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.”

At 48, Vanessa is a mother of five. She expressed gratitude towards her medical team, saying, “I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me. I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.” Vanessa also requested privacy, adding, “Thank you for your kindness and support it truly means more than I can express. -Vanessa”

Ivanka Trump, Vanessa’s former sister-in-law, conveyed her support in a message on the Instagram post, writing, “Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama.” Vanessa’s health news comes after her boyfriend, Tiger Woods, 50, returned from a rehabilitation stay in Switzerland. Woods was involved in a car crash in Florida and charged with DUI and refusal to submit to a urine test. He pleaded not guilty to both charges on March 31.

Vanessa met Donald Jr. in 2005 at a fashion show introduced by then-President Donald Trump. They married that year and divorced in 2018. They have five children: Kai, 19, who has gained attention as a social media figure and golfer, Donald III, 17, Tristan, 14, Spencer, 13, and Chloe, 11.

Earlier this month, Kai celebrated her mother on Mother’s Day with a heartfelt Instagram post, stating, “Happy Mother’s Day to the best Mom I could ever ask for. I’m so thankful and lucky to have you in my life. Thank you for always supporting me and loving your 5 kids. You are such an amazing Mom and we are all so lucky to have you. I appreciate you more than anything ❤️”

In related news, Susie Wiles, Trump’s chief of staff, disclosed her own breast cancer diagnosis in March. She posted on X saying, “Last week, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Nearly one in eight women in the United States will face this diagnosis. Every day, these women continue to raise their families, go to work, and serve their communities with strength and determination. I now join their ranks. I am grateful to have an outstanding team of doctors who detected the cancer early and are guiding my care, and I am encouraged by a very good prognosis. I am also deeply thankful for the support and encouragement of President Trump as I undergo treatment and continue serving in my role as White House Chief of Staff.”
