4 weeks ago 0

The White House published a detailed three-page document prepared by Dr. Sean P. Barbabella, President Trump’s physician. This report, following a physical examination at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, affirmed President Trump’s state of health as ‘excellent.’ The findings included normal results from neurological and heart evaluations despite some weight gain.

Historically, health reports about Mr. Trump have consistently highlighted his robust health and good habits. The recent assessment maintained a positive view, highlighting his durable cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical functions.

In the report, it was noted that the president, who is the oldest to assume office, underwent elaborate physical and mental evaluations. As part of these tests, he received an echocardiogram due to last year’s expanded cardiovascular testing. This was in relation to a diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency, a condition affecting blood return to the heart.

Mr. Trump has a medical history marked by high cholesterol, for which he uses Crestor and Zetia to manage LDL levels. He also consumes a high aspirin dose daily to mitigate heart attack and stroke risks, contrary to medical guidelines suggesting a reduction.

Neurological assessments included the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, a quick exam screening for dementia or Alzheimer’s disease signs. Mr. Trump achieved a perfect score, 30 out of 30, indicating no issues.

The report mentioned a weight increase of 14 pounds since April 2025, putting him at 238 pounds, nearing clinical obesity levels. Despite his public commentary on obesity medications, the president revealed he hasn’t taken any, considering it ‘probably should.’
