As the arts correspondent, Brown has profiled countless acclaimed writers, musicians, actors, and artists. His notable projects include the “Culture at Risk” series, which highlights endangered cultural heritage both in the U.S. and globally. He also played a key role in launching the NewsHour’s online section “Art Beat” and co-hosts the monthly book club, “Now Read This,” in partnership with The New York Times.
