Miami Hurricanes Shine in Recruiting

After an impressive June, the Miami Hurricanes experienced a quieter July. Sitting comfortably in the top five rankings with 20 commitments, it seemed logical to take a breather.

Then, five-star cornerback A’mir Sears reclassified from 2028 to 2027. With strong ties to South Florida and a likely Miami commitment, alarms sounded that their elite 2027 class reached new heights. Sears’s announcement gave Miami its fifth five-star, showing that ‘The U’ is indeed resurging.
