In a concern-filled update from Georgia, Nathan Smith, also known as DJ Young Slade, and the son of rapper Lil Jon, is reported missing. The 27-year-old was last observed heading away from his residence near the intersection of Baldwin Drive and Mayfield Road in Milton at approximately 6 a.m. on a Tuesday morning.
According to a police bulletin, Nathan departed his home on foot without carrying a cellphone, raising fears about his location since he may be disoriented and requiring aid. Both his family and close friends are deeply troubled by his unexplained absence, and the authorities are actively working to locate him.
The gravity of the situation is underscored by the public plea from Lil Jon’s publicist. Speaking to NBC’s Atlanta-based affiliate WXIA-TV, the publicist conveyed the family’s desire for privacy during this distressing time and requested continued prayers for Nathan’s safe return.
