Following the earthquake, patients had to be evacuated from a hospital in Cali, illustrating the urgent response required to handle the crisis. Rescue teams are tirelessly searching for survivors amidst the debris. The disaster resulted in a devastating death toll of at least 241 lives lost, with thousands injured.
Adding to the challenge is the fact that more than 5,000 individuals have been reported missing, compounding the urgency of rescue operations. The earthquake occurred on Monday and has prompted immediate action to locate and assist those affected.
