Houthi Attack on Saudi Airport

On October 8, 2026, a significant attack occurred at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, when Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels claimed responsibility. The attack resulted in 14 fatalities and increased tensions in the already volatile Middle East region.

International Response

Former National Security Council Chief of Staff Alex Gray discussed the response from President Donald Trump to this incident. The situation emphasizes geopolitical instability, and the world closely watches the Middle East dynamics.

Energy Ceasefire Announcement

Besides addressing the Houthi attack, Alex Gray mentioned President Trump’s announcement regarding an energy ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. This move aims to ease international tensions related to energy resources and regional conflicts.

TNA Wrestling’s Controversial Moment

On the same weekend, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) held its Bound for Glory pay-per-view event. The event was notable for several championship changes, including the main event’s world championship. Amid the excitement, the company faced criticism for an incident involving wrestler Max Caster.

Max Caster’s Inappropriate Comments

Pro wrestler Max Caster, during his debut match against Moose, referenced the recent Saudi airport attack in his entrance rap. His lyrics, which jokingly alluded to the tragic event, were met with immediate backlash on social media.

“… And it’s the firing squad. I drop bombs. You don’t even have to fly to Riyadh,” he said, causing controversy.

TNA’s Reaction and Apology

TNA quickly responded by removing all content related to Caster from their social platforms and issued a statement condemning the comments. The company acknowledged their responsibility and offered apologies to the victims and their families.

“Making light of violent attacks is wrong. This should never have made it into the show, and that responsibility is ours. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and everyone affected. We sincerely apologize,” the company’s statement read. Caster will no longer participate in TNA events.
