French AI Entrepreneur’s Warning to American Voters: Avoid Democrat Policies

1 hour ago 0

Brivael Le Pogam, co-founder of the French AI company Argil, recently gained attention for his social media post advising Americans not to vote for the Democratic Party. He cautioned that doing so could lead the U.S. towards a fate similar to France’s.

Le Pogam revealed on social media that he wanted to share this message with Americans in hopes of preventing undesirable outcomes. He highlighted that under progressive governance, France’s public spending soared to nearly 57% of its GDP. This aimed to support free healthcare, education, and welfare, but the results have been disappointing.

France, according to Le Pogam, hasn’t balanced a budget since 1974. The national debt exceeds 3,300 billion euros, and servicing this debt is a significant budget burden. Despite high funding, hospitals and schools are struggling. Many young professionals can’t afford housing in their birth cities, and top talent is relocating to places like London and San Francisco. The wealthy, along with jobs, have left the country to avoid heavy taxation.

Le Pogam emphasized that France’s current situation was not due to voting for decline. Instead, it resulted from decades of accumulated taxes and regulations. He urged Americans to consider if their choices would make the U.S. more self-reliant or more like France. He expressed admiration for America’s spirit of self-made success.

His message resonated widely, receiving support from conservative voices including billionaire Bill Ackman. Le Pogam faced criticism from those arguing that U.S. policies would not mirror France’s. He countered by pointing to rising costs in government-subsidized sectors like healthcare and education.

Le Pogam described a “Trojan horse” strategy, where real issues lead to promises of solutions that exacerbate problems. He drew parallels with the experiences of people in communist Poland, warning that solutions disguised as compassionate might often lead to increased problems.

He concluded with a message to voters: consider the state’s role carefully. He encouraged discussions instead of debates and urged for less state intervention. In remarks to Fox News Digital, he reaffirmed his positive reception of his comments and expressed support for Republican policies.
