2 weeks ago 0

Joe Coffey, known for his stint in WWE NXT, has joined Major League Wrestling (MLW) alongside his Gallus stablemates, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang. Collectively rebranded as Glasgow Boys on Top (GBOT), the group is aiming to secure championship titles in their new promotion.

Coffey departed WWE in May 2025, and now sees MLW as a chance to develop his character further. He expressed his excitement about this new chapter, stating, “I feel like I just want more character development. I want to be able to tell a story. The past couple of years, I felt that was neglected.”

The group is eager to showcase their potential at MLW and collaborate with Court Bauer for more compelling narratives. Coffey adds that Bauer has been very supportive of their ambitions, making MLW a perfect fit for their goals.

Joe Coffey is determined to earn titles for himself and GBOT. Emphasizing a focus on dominance, he remarked, “We have to be pure violence. We’ve had restrictions before, but now it’s time to be dominant. I’m not here to make up numbers. I’m here to show who I am.”

The recent debut of “MLW Fusion” on the global streaming platform Veeps is a significant advancement for the promotion, granting free access to a worldwide audience. Coffey praised this move, highlighting the unique storytelling emphasis that sets MLW apart from other wrestling promotions. “‘MLW Fusion’ offers what the pro wrestling world is missing,” he said. “It has something for everyone with great storylines running simultaneously.”

Coffey looks forward to demonstrating GBOT’s potential on a broader stage, ensuring that fans have a positive view of their work. He is optimistic about the future at MLW and eager to see how the audience responds. “The feedback has been nothing but positive. I’m really looking forward to the future at MLW,” he concluded.
