Kawhi Leonard’s time with the Los Angeles Clippers has ended. According to NBA insider Shams Charania, the Clippers are finalizing a major trade that sends the two-time Finals MVP back to the Toronto Raptors. This move concludes an era filled with high expectations but limited playoff achievements for the Clippers.

To acquire Leonard, the Raptors are trading forward Brandon Ingram, guard Gradey Dick, two future first-round picks, a first-round pick swap, and two second-round picks. The transaction marks a significant change for both Toronto and Los Angeles.

Leonard will return to Toronto, where he once led the Raptors to the 2019 NBA championship. Meanwhile, the Clippers are parting ways with a period that failed to produce a Finals appearance, despite substantial investments by franchise owner Steve Ballmer.
