Kim Zolciak’s Son KJ Faces Serious Legal Charges

KJ Biermann, 15, was indicted on Wednesday on charges of child molestation and sexual battery involving a minor under 16. The indictment, issued by a grand jury in Fulton County, Georgia, includes seven counts. Among these are aggravated sodomy and false imprisonment, as detailed in documents from Fox News Digital.

KJ, whose full name is Kroy Jagger, is the son of Kim Zolciak, known from “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” and former NFL player Kroy Biermann. His arrest last month emerged from an alleged incident in April, leading to initial charges of two felonies.

Additional charges of aggravated sexual battery and aggravated sodomy were filed on August 17. These charges came after KJ’s arrest in Alpharetta, Georgia. Under Georgia’s SB440 law, he is being charged as an adult. This law allows adult courts to handle cases involving juveniles aged 13 to 17 when specific violent felonies are alleged.

Currently, KJ is jailed without bond at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center, awaiting a preliminary hearing in September.

“The allegations are reckless and deeply troubling,” stated Kim Zolciak. She firmly denied her son’s involvement in the alleged conduct, offering a detailed defense. Zolciak emphasized that her son passed a polygraph test and claimed no DNA evidence was found to support the accusations. She also pointed out that the accuser has made similar claims against others, raising questions that warrant further investigation.

Zolciak expressed her concerns about the consequences of false allegations, stating that such claims can harm both the accused and genuine survivors of sexual assault. She urged for serious consideration of legitimate allegations based on facts and evidence.

Zolciak and Kroy Biermann ended their first divorce filing in July 2023, after two months of filing separate petitions. KJ is their oldest son. The couple also shares three other children: Kash, 14, and twins Kaia and Kane, 12. Biermann adopted Zolciak’s daughters from a previous relationship, Ariana and Brielle.
