Lady Gaga and her fiancé Michael Polansky have reportedly welcomed their first child. This news has been confirmed by both People and Page Six.
Details about the birth are presently scarce. Lady Gaga previously expressed her enthusiasm for motherhood in an interview with The New York Times in March 2025, admitting she once had reservations but was excited about becoming a mom. She stated, “I’m also kind of at war with myself sometimes as I get ready to, hopefully, become a mom soon… There’s an incredible amount of narcissism in this. How do I live a life where I’m passionate about my art while also making more space for other things?”
Gaga emphasized her desire to allow her children to make their own choices and discover their identities independently.
She also discussed the wonder of motherhood in a March 2020 interview with InStyle: “Isn’t it incredible what we can do? We can hold a human inside and grow it… Then it comes out, and it’s our job to keep it alive.”
Lady Gaga and Polansky’s relationship began in late 2019. They became publicly known as a couple after being seen together on New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas and confirmed their romance through an Instagram post in February 2020.
The couple got engaged in April 2024, with Gaga announcing the engagement that July. They made their red carpet debut at the Venice Film Festival for the premiere of “Joker: Folie à Deux” in September 2024. Gaga expressed to Vogue that “the missing piece in my life was having real love.”
Having recently concluded her Mayhem Ball tour in April, Gaga’s last public outing was at the premiere of “Apple Music Live: Lady Gaga MAYHEM Requiem” at the Grove in May.
