Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley recently debuted in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) during the show ‘Collision’ held in their hometown of Detroit. Known as the Motor City Machine Guns, they made a strong impression in their initial appearance, asserting that AEW is the premier platform for wrestling talent.
The dynamic duo of Sabin and Shelley proclaimed their dedication to representing Detroit, a city they have associated with throughout their 20-year career. Sabin emphatically stated, “Did you really think we wouldn’t be here? There’s no place we’d rather be in than the greatest city in civilization, the place we represented for 20 years. During their debut, the Motor City Machine Guns promptly made their presence felt. Following the victory of the Bang Bang Gang, comprised of Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Ace Austin, and Juice Robinson, over Jon Moxley, Pac, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta, the Bang Bang Gang was attacked by Clark Connors and David Finlay. Sabin and Shelley intervened to protect the winners and embraced them in the ring.
The Motor City Machine Guns are a highly accomplished tag team in professional wrestling. Their storied career includes episodes in major wrestling organizations like WWE, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), Ring of Honor, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling. They have secured tag team championships in every organization they participated in.
