Mourning the Loss of Chad Lowe’s Daughter Fiona

Chad Lowe’s family is grieving after the tragic loss of his daughter, Fiona. Mabel, his 17-year-old daughter, paid tribute to her younger sister through a heartfelt social media post. Fiona passed away at a Los Angeles hospital on September 29, as confirmed by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office. She was 13 years old. The cause of death was ruled a suicide.

Mabel shared, ‘I love you so much, Fiona. I wish your short time here was easier and I hope your mind is at ease now. I will honor you forever and keep your memory alive. I love you, I hope you knew just how much.’ Many family friends offered their condolences during this difficult time. Jeremy Renner expressed, ‘Bless you dear Mabel. My deepest condolences to you and the family.’

Other friends like Jessica Capshaw, Kimberly Williams Paisley, and Selma Blair also sent messages of support. Chad Lowe and Kim Painter announced Fiona’s death on Tuesday. They shared that Fiona, the middle child, was adored by her siblings and deeply loved by her parents. In their statement, they said, ‘We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona. She was a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance. She was the light of our lives.’

The family requested privacy and encouraged anyone struggling with mental health issues to reach out to the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988. Chad Lowe is an Emmy-winning actor known for his work on ‘Life Goes On,’ ‘Pretty Little Liars,’ and ‘9-1-1: Lone Star.’ His wife, Kim Painter, is a producer and casting professional.
