This marked Harper’s first goal in his fourth game of the season.
Maren Heile-Selassie put the Chicago Fire in the lead in the 38th minute. This goal, his fourth of the season, was set up with assists from Viktor Radojević and Jonathan Bamba. The assist was Radojević’s first in his third career start and 10th appearance.
Chicago’s goalkeeper, Chris Brady, played strongly, making five saves. This performance contributed to the Fire’s extended MLS unbeaten streak of four matches. They have recently achieved six consecutive wins across all competitions, a feat last accomplished in their debut season in 1998.
