3 days ago 0

The Broken Arrow Fire Department in Oklahoma successfully extinguished a fire at a fireworks stand on Saturday night. The department shared in a Facebook post that the blaze involved fireworks actively detonating at the scene.

At approximately 8:50 p.m. on Saturday evening, firefighters were dispatched to a fire near East Kenosha Street and South 236th East Avenue. A video captures fireworks exploding out of a burning trailer, showcasing the intensity of the situation.

The Broken Arrow Fire Department posted a photo on Facebook, documenting the fire at the fireworks stand as it unfolded on June 20, 2026. The department’s engine arrived to find the fireworks stand ablaze, with fireworks detonating continuously.

With the arrival of additional fire crews from A-Shift, firefighters quickly took control of the situation, extinguishing the fire within about 20 minutes. Remarkably, there were no injuries reported.

This incident took place just two weeks before July 4, a time when many Americans traditionally celebrate Independence Day with fireworks. The timing highlights the importance of safety measures during these celebrations.
