Olivia Rodrigo, known for her powerful breakup songs, is exploring new territory with her latest album, “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.” Following the success of her first two albums, “Sour” and “Guts,” Rodrigo now turns her attention to the highs of falling in love.

Rodrigo’s opening track, “Drop Dead,” sets an emotional tone with a vivid comparison of a potential lover to an “angel on the walls of Versailles.” The album reflects the intensity of new love, as demonstrated in “Stupid Song,” where she uses metaphors to describe her lovesick feelings.
