A tragic shooting occurred on Saturday afternoon at an In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho. An eyewitness account reveals that a man with a handgun exchanged gunfire with the attacker, compelling the shooter to seek cover.
Lane Koehn, who spoke with the Associated Press, described witnessing a man carrying an AR-style rifle emerge near the drive-thru area. In response, another man drew a pistol and fired at the assailant. After the exchange, the man with the pistol assisted an injured In-N-Out employee until paramedics were able to arrive on the scene.
In an interview with the New York Times, Koehn stated that the man wielding the handgun appeared to be “an older gentleman.” His quick actions contributed to the young gunman taking cover.
Tragically, the shooting resulted in three fatalities and left at least seven others injured. Law enforcement reported that the suspect was found deceased. Investigations are ongoing to determine the motive behind the attack.
