Shuttle Bus Crash at Newark Airport Injures 13

An employee shuttle bus accident at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey led to injuries for 13 individuals early Monday morning, based on local reports.

The incident took place shortly after 3 a.m. on Terminal B Departures Level 3 roadway, as detailed by News 12 New Jersey.

According to reports, three people suffered serious injuries, while 10 others had minor injuries. None of these injuries were considered life-threatening.

Video shared by Fox News Digital captured the severely damaged shuttle bus, which was still pressed against the concrete barrier. The bus’s front end looked crumpled, and its door and windshield glass were shattered.

Emergency responders worked on-site, encircled by police tape. The cause of the crash remains uncertain as authorities continue their investigation.

The injured passengers were transported to nearby hospitals for evaluation and treatment, stated WABC-TV.

The crash resulted in the closure of Terminal B Departures Level 3 roadway for debris clearance operations.

The Port Authority Police Department instructed travelers departing from Terminal B to use Level 2 for drop-offs due to ongoing police activities. As of now, the specific reason behind the crash has not been revealed.
