Stratton’s Stunning Victory at WWE Crown Jewel

1 hour ago 0

The initial story was set to highlight Chelsea Green’s triumph over Liv Morgan at WWE Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Green secured the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship, seemingly proving herself and silencing critics. However, Tiffany Stratton changed the narrative entirely.

Green’s victory was hard-fought. Liv Morgan held control for much of the match, despite sending her stablemates, Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez, backstage. Morgan aimed to prove her independence yet dropped her guard for a brief moment. Green capitalized and surprised Morgan with a victory.

Chelsea Green expressed her emotions, stating, “It’s been a long 13 years. I do deserve it. Thirteen years I left blood, sweat, and tears in this ring.” Green celebrated with the crowd, acknowledging her journey and declaring herself the greatest women’s champion.

However, Morgan retaliated against Green after the match. At that moment, Tiffany Stratton, holding the Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase, emerged from the audience. Initially appearing to target Morgan, she instead blindsided Green, her supposed ally.

Stratton executed the Prettiest Moonsault Ever and pinned Green, seizing the Women’s Championship. She also took Green’s Crown Jewel Championship and ring, leaving Green in disbelief and tears. Despite Stratton’s betrayal, Green retains recognition as the Crown Jewel champion.

This marks Stratton’s second championship victory achieved through deceit. She previously betrayed Nia Jax under similar circumstances, leveraging the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Stratton’s actions exemplify her strategic cunning within the WWE Universe. Her manipulation of the Money in the Bank position shows that no champion is safe when Stratton is around.
