Taylor Swift’s Dior Wedding Dress Designed by Jonathan Anderson

1 month ago 0

Taylor Swift chose a Dior wedding gown for her marriage to Travis Kelce, ending much speculation. Jonathan Anderson, Dior’s creative director, designed the dress. Anderson took the position last year to enhance Dior’s global image.

The dress, designed by Anderson, is set to become one of the most sought-after pieces this year. No photos have been released yet, but it might inspire many replicas. It’s a significant achievement for Anderson, especially after Dua Lipa wore Chanel for her wedding. Delphine Arnault, Dior’s CEO, greatly supported Anderson’s appointment.

Swift’s choice reflects her fondness for fairy-tale aesthetics over edgy or minimalistic styles. Her decision to pick a high-profile designer aligns with the event’s grandeur, held in a prominent city arena during a bustling weekend.

Previously, Swift wore a design by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Anderson’s predecessor at Dior, to the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards and has carried Dior bags since April. Some expected Ralph Lauren to design her dress, considering the July 4 wedding weekend and Swift and Kelce’s engagement shoot featuring Lauren’s designs.
