CEO Lance Fensterman describes the event as a viral sensation with numerous superstars gathered under one Manhattan roof. Thursday’s opening day presented a spectacular moment at the Javits Center in the Raising Cane’s activation area.

Brady and Gronkowski Thrill Fans

Tom Brady joined Rob Gronkowski for a unique event involving 500 gallons of Raising Cane’s sauce in a dunk tank. Brady’s unmatched football accuracy led to Gronkowski splashing into the sauce, creating excitement among onlookers. Brady and Raising Cane’s owner Todd Graves celebrated this memorable kickoff to the festival.

Fox News Digital spoke with Graves regarding the sauce dunk tank event. Graves mentioned that the idea arose through collaboration with Fanatics Fest partners, including Michael Rubin and Michael Ratner from OBB Media. It became a reality with Brady dunking Gronkowski in a dunk tank filled with Cane’s Sauce.

A Legendary Moment for Raising Cane’s

Graves remarked on the significance of this event for Cane’s lore, noting that when the brand began in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Aug. 28, 1996, he never foresaw such high-profile athletes engaging in this way.

“The crews are already thrilled about it. The fans will love it. Gronk is the perfect personality for this, and Brady hitting the target is ideal,” Graves added.

The Hail Mary Moment

Brady and Gronkowski entertained the crowd with a humorous chicken-finger toss. Gronkowski teased Brady from his seat, and Brady toyed with his accuracy before hitting the target on the third attempt. Gronkowski fell in, causing a massive splash that captivated all present.

As Gronkowski wiped sauce from his eyes, Grave thanked the duo for creating an iconic moment.

Raising Cane’s Journey

Graves expressed pride in Cane’s expansion, noting its 100,000 crew members and 1,000 locations as it approaches its 30th anniversary. Seeing the brand celebrated at Fanatics Fest was a dream come true. Graves emphasized the joy he found in providing entertainment, realizing his vision for Raising Cane’s alongside celebrated figures.
