Roxanne Perez seized her opportunity at Triplemania 34 in Las Vegas, clinching the No. 1 contender spot for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship. Competing on Friday night, Perez outperformed WWE star Nattie and AAA stars La Hiedra and Faby Apache, securing her place for a title shot at Worlds Collide.

The event took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on September 11, 2026. It was a tough contest for Perez, as she faced hostility from her opponents early on. Despite being ganged up on and tossed out of the ring at the start, Perez persevered.

“It definitely is a big task. I have a big opportunity right in front of me that I know I’m gonna take,” Perez remarked before the match. “I know that I’m gonna go straight to Worlds Collide and become Reina de Reinas champion, but I am not underestimating every woman in this match.”

Flammer, the reigning champion, tried to interfere in the match in favor of La Hiedra. However, Perez managed to turn the tables by pushing La Hiedra into Flammer, then executing her finishing move, Pop Rox. This secured her victory by pinning La Hiedra.

In the aftermath, La Hiedra and Flammer appeared to have a heated exchange in the ring. Despite this, Perez will move on to face either Flammer or La Catalina for the championship.

Perez expressed admiration for her competitors. She acknowledged La Hiedra’s deep knowledge of AAA, Nattie’s legacy in WWE, and Faby Apache’s status in Lucha Libre. Perez emphasized her readiness and determination, stating, “If anybody thinks that I’m just gonna let this opportunity slip away, I’ve been waiting for one opportunity and I finally have it.”

As Perez awaits the winner of the match between Flammer and La Catalina, her focus remains clear. Her journey to Worlds Collide and her goal to become the Reina de Reinas champion continues.
