Sean “Diddy” Combs required medical attention early Saturday due to a head injury obtained from a fall at the federal prison where he is incarcerated. TMZ reported that the specifics of his treatment and the exact nature of his injury remain unknown.
Sources from Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institute in New Jersey indicated to TMZ that the hip-hop mogul, who is approximately a year into a 50-month sentence for transporting individuals for prostitution, returned to the institution before dawn. He had been transported by ambulance around 1 a.m. upon sustaining the injury. Combs was reportedly conscious and conversing upon his return.
The injury incident arises roughly 10 days following an NBC report. The report highlighted that Combs was reportedly spending thousands of dollars monthly for various inmate-provided services, including cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, and massages.
Recently, after a physical altercation, Combs had been released from solitary confinement only to be placed back following this recent incident. Additionally, his release date from prison has been postponed a few weeks.
