New York Times opinion columnist Michelle Goldberg criticized the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC) 2024 election autopsy, describing it as ‘mysterious,’ ‘anticlimactic,’ and ‘ridiculous.’ The report’s release faced delays, causing internal party drama. According to Goldberg, the document remained confidential not due to sensitivity but because it lacked quality.

Goldberg’s main complaint is the report’s lack of substance. It does not address key issues like the loss of Black and Latino male voters and the party’s struggle to connect with irregular voters. Notably, it omits mention of ‘Israel’ and ‘Gaza.’
