Amanda Serrano, considered one of the greatest boxers of all time, is preparing for her final fight. The world featherweight champion will face Skye Falzon on January 9 in Puerto Rico. This match marks Serrano’s “Last Walk” and will be a significant event for both her career and the sport of boxing.
Serrano, along with Most Valuable Promotions, co-founded by Jake Paul, announced this farewell match. She has had a storied career, starting from humble beginnings when women’s boxing was gaining recognition. Amanda’s journey took her from small theater shows to headlining events at Madison Square Garden, reaching millions of fans worldwide.
Reflecting on her career, Serrano expressed pride in her accomplishments. “Boxing has been my life,” she said. “My husband Jordan and I believed in the potential of women’s boxing. I’m proud of everything we’ve achieved, from paving the way for recognition to fighting on some of the biggest stages.” Her final fight in Puerto Rico holds special significance for Serrano, as it allows her to perform in front of the supporters who have been with her from the start.
“To close my career at home in Puerto Rico, where I’ve always felt supported, means everything. On Saturday, January 9, I’m going to give fans one last memorable night,” Serrano stated, inviting her supporters from around the world to join her in this celebration.
Serrano praised Jake Paul and MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian for their support in advancing women’s boxing. She acknowledged their role in advocating for equal opportunities, fair pay, and respect in the sport. “Nakisa and Jake believed in me and women’s boxing. Together, we’ve helped change what’s possible for women in this sport,” she noted. Serrano plans to continue advocating for female fighters even after retiring from competition.
Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian shared their admiration for Serrano, calling her the MOAT—Most Of All Time. They credited her for being an influential figure in women’s boxing and highlighted the success achieved under MVP’s platform. “Amanda’s success has helped change the entire landscape of women’s boxing,” Paul and Bidarian said. “Her achievements have proven that women’s boxing deserves a place on the world’s biggest stages.”
Serrano became internationally recognized after her co-main event fight against Katie Taylor alongside Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson in November 2024. Despite losing all three of her fights to Taylor, Serrano’s matches captured the attention of audiences at sold-out venues like Madison Square Garden.
Her professional record stands at 50-4-1, with victories in her last three bouts since facing Taylor in July 2025. The upcoming fight in Puerto Rico will be her sixth professional match in her home country, marking an emotional and impactful conclusion to an extraordinary career.
