Available starting Aug. 21, Simon Glassman’s film ‘Buffet Infinity’ joins the list of creative low-budget horror movies this year. The storyline unfolds through local TV commercials and news snippets, revealing an unnerving all-you-can-eat restaurant slowly overtaking a city in Alberta. The film features side plots, including a religious cult opposing the restaurant’s threat. Initially resembling a late-night TV sketch comedy, ‘Buffet Infinity’ grows increasingly dark and surreal as the narrative comes together.
